In Hawai'i, lei adorn not only the neck but the head as well. This busy book includes five different flowers and one fern, all native to Hawai'i, for your keiki to make their own lei po'o (lei worn on the head). All they have to do is pick and snap!

• Introduce your keiki to the six rainbow colors through the 5 flowers and 1 fern in this book. Pick and snap them onto the lei po'o base. When they are done wearing it, encourage your keiki to sort them back into the book by color!
• Make the lei po'o base by combining the four rectangular bases on the first spread. The size of the lei po'o can be adjusted to fit any po'o, including adult heads!
• Includes 10 patterning cards on the back for extra learning challenge!

Side note: snapping the buttons onto the lei po'o base and back into the book may be difficult for some keiki, even ones who are already 3 years old! But just like making a real lei po'o, practice is key to mastering the skill!
